Valentine's Day Chocolate Covered Pretzel Rods

Valentine’s day is just around the corner, and here at kidpik we’re making all of our favorite sweet treats. Today, we’re sharing a super easy recipe - chocolate covered pretzel rods! This dessert can work for any occasion by swapping out the themed sprinkles. The kids are going to love making this dessert just as much as they’ll love snacking on them.  

Ingredients: 

• 12 large pretzel rods 

• Light cocoa candy melts 
• White candy melts 
• Pink candy melts 
• Red candy melts 
• Assorted sprinkles 

• Wax paper 

 Instructions:  

• Melt candy coating according to package directions. Be careful not to overheat them. 
• Pour melted candy coating over two-thirds of the pretzel rod. Shake gently to remove excess. 
• Place your sprinkles in a bowl. 
• Rotate the pretzel rod evenly to coat all sides of the candy coating in sprinkles. 
• Place pretzel rods on wax paper to set.  

• Enjoy!
