National Parks Virtual Field Trip

Are you ready for our next field trip? This week, we’re taking a tour of some of our National Parks! Just because they’re currently closed, doesn’t mean we can’t explore them. They each have great online resources that let you virtually discover the parks. Take the tour ahead of the kids, and jot down some landmarks for them to find!

First up is the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The Mall has a ton of monuments and memorials for you to virtually visit. They even have a live webcam dedicated to the infamous Cherry Blossoms!

Heading west, our next stop is Badlands National Park. Start by learning about some of the native wildlife, both current and ancient, and then hit the trails!

Our final stop is Yellowstone National Park. Explore the park for a bit, and then make sure you put the live Geyser cam on. Who knows, maybe you’ll get to see it erupt!
