Backyard Scavenger Hunt

One of our favorite outdoor activities is a scavenger hunt! There’s so much fun to be had by simply discovering things that are already in your yard. Create your own scavenger list or use the official Camp Staycay list below.

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Scavenger hunt list
• Brown paper bag
• Camera (you can use a phone for this)
• Tape

Decide if each child will play individually or if they will split into teams. Print either one list per child or one per team. Tape each list onto a brown paper bag. The kids will use these to hold the items that they’re able to collect. For the rest of the items, they will use the camera to take a picture.
